The Victorian Government is offering rebates of up to $5,000 as a part of the (VEU) Victorian Energy Upgrades program, for houses that require heating and cooling upgrades.
The program is designed to reduce carbon emissions, save Victorians on their electricity bills and support local jobs.
Depending on the upgrade/s, the average household can save between $120 and $1,100 a year on energy costs.
